Elect Her - Campus Women Win, a collaboration between AAUW and Running Start, is the only nationwide program that encourages  and trains young women to run for student government on their campuses.  in a five-hour training, Elect Her - Campus Women Win provides students with research and information about women and politics, inspiring local speakers, and interactive campaign exercises. 

In 2011, Elect Her - Campus Women Win trained more than 400 participants on 17 campuses.  Results show that after the training almost double the number of students said theywould run for student government and for political office than before the training.  Plus, 100% of the participants reported that they would recommend Elect Her - Campus Women Win to a friend.  Read more about Elect Her - Campus Women Win including student success stories at:  http://www.aauw.org/learn/LeadershipPrograms/electHer.cfm.
